Do you know who holds forgiveness?
People may or may not forgive you, but Allah has promised to forgive everyone who sincerely repents: "Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins." [Az-Zumar :53].
Islam calls you never to despair, for the gate of forgiveness remains open until the very last moment.
