Ibn al-Haytham: When Humanity Began to Understand Vision
Ibn al-Haytham devoted much of his life to studying light, vision, reflection, and mirrors.
His work in optics became some of the most important scientific scholarship of the medieval period, alongside contributions to mathematics and astronomy.
Rather than simply repeating earlier ideas, he examined, tested, and questioned phenomena for himself.
His name remains one of the most important in the history of optics.
